Up to 24”L x 16”H will suffice by adult size. Dogs love dens and curling up in tight spaces and wire cages do not give them the same comfort and security. - Leash and collar and/or harness for small dogs (No retractable leashes). I use a 10-14 in. collar on my dogs and ¾ in. leash.
- Baby gate for room confinement to aid in potty training if needed
- Toys
- Dog bed (may not want to give until potty trained unless it is washable)
- Safe chew toys (Nylabone flexichew for teething puppies is great). No rawhide.
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Tropiclean fresh breath oral Care Clean Teeth Gel is also pretty good. They also have a water additive you can add to their water bowl. I do not know if it works.
- Natural treats for training and positive reinforcement.
- Flea combs are also great for brushing the hair on the face and getting eye gunk out of the hair under their eyes.
