New Puppies Have Arrived!

We have new Havanese Puppies!!

Born October 9, this is the last of our litters for this year and Pedro’s very last litter!  He is officially retired from our breeding program.  He and Jewel gave us three beautiful boys and we are so excited to watch them grow.  It is so much fun to watch their personalities develop as well as their color and markings.  There is an old saying in the world of dogs, “Girls love you, but boys are in love with you.”  I guess we have triple that love!!  Only two of these beauties are available.  All our puppies are registered with the AKC and sent home with a 2 year health guarantee, vet checked, received first set of vaccines, kennel acclimation, and beginning potty training.  Contact us for more information and don’t forget to fill out our puppy application beforehand!  Thank you so much!

Dog Days of Summer

The hot summer is in full swing down here in the South.  Here are just a few reminders to protect your beloved pups from overheating.

  • When taking a walk outside of your yard, walk in the early morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler.
  • Avoid excessive play and exertion on hot days.
  • Limit activity to cooler times of the day such as early morning and later evening.
  • If outside with you for any period of time apart from potty breaks, keep your dog in the shade.
  • Provide adequate water at all times.
  • Keep your dogs in air conditioned or well-ventilated rooms in your house.  The use of fans is also quite handy.
  • Never ever leave your dog unattended in the car not even for a minute!

Watch for signs of heat exhaustion:

2 Sweet Babies Available!

Two sweet babies are ready to be a part of your family today!!  Born on 3/21, they are up to date on vaccines, received complete health physical from my vet, and are kennel acclimated.

Black Girl with white markings. She is a sweetheart that loves to sit in your lap and chomp on a toy.  She loves to be snuggled and hugged but also has plenty of puppy zoomies at playtime.  Her favorite spot is up on top of the kennel in their pen to get a closer view of what we are doing or in hopes I am getting her next meal!  haha
Black boy with white markings.  He is a sweetie that loves to sit on your lap with a toy, but also has plenty of puppy energy to burn!  A little on the spunky side, but very attentive to us and wants to be picked up all the time.  He is a very curious little boy that loves to squeeze through the kitchen gate and explore the world beyond, aka the rest of the house.  haha
